Job Description: We are a distributor of electronic components As the Sales Manager working within our Global Electronic Distribution Company, you are responsible for developing sales strategies, setting targets, and overseeing and motivating the sales team to achieve those goals. You will provide excellent service to our customers and assist them with any inquiries they may have. You will also be responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities and maintaining and expanding our database of prospects.                                                  
Responsibilities:

  • Coaching and mentoring staff, analyzing sales data, and collaborating with other departments to drive performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance skills in product knowledge, sales techniques and customer service.
  • Set sales quotas and objectives
  • Monitor sales performance
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound website or phone lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest in our company.
  • Maintain and expand database of prospective customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Expectations:
The expectations for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Lead the sales team to achieve goals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Coach and motivate staff.
  • Set sales targets.
  • Training new sales representatives.
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other communication methods to engage with prospective customers.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and targets.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals by addressing objections and persuading customers to make a purchase.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven sales management experience and relevant customer service experience.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a sales team.
  • Expertise in the sales process, from planning to closing.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a competitive spirit.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • 3-5 years of Sales Management Experience. The company will provide industry specific training as needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (Excel specifically), email and phone systems.
Work Hours
  • This is a full-time Salaried position. 
  • Work hours are 8:30-5:30 with an hour for lunch. 

This position pays 50k-60k salary plus commission based on experience
